Rotary switch: default starting position

Is there a way that I can set a starting position for a rotary switch?
Can I also retain this position?

Let say I have a switch with 3 positions:
Pos 1: Off
Pos 2: auto
Pos 3: on

I want the switch to always be in position 2, except for when I change it.

you have to add a starting value to the rotary switch variable. Just open the variable settings to do it.
