I use IoT version to read information from an industrial HMI using Modbus. I have a name of current recipe that I need to display on the dashboard. I can read the 20 input registers and see the ACSII numbers in the variables of my Modbus connection but for the life of me I cannot figure a way to display the text on the dashboard. Was thinking of using the recipe index numbers and maintain the name lists in both the HMI and again in the IoT dashboard and use visibility on text/label widget but updates would be problematic to keep these lists synced and displaying correctly. I will also have the same issue with operator name when I get to that point. Any suggestions?

I am fighting with this since the beginning

As far as I understand, virtuino "want" to use all the height of my monitor
This can be annoying in some case, Taskbar not hidding even if it should for example, as the bottom is not accessible and hidden
Is there a way to dynamically resize the virtuino window ? to have it not "full height" and by adding slider on the side to go up and down as in any windows application ?

I also have often some widgets which are UNDER the toolbox bottom right and so not accessible
Instead of the fixed toolbox, I think it would be far better and much more easy to shift to a Contextual Menu to access option of different widget instead moving back and forth between the widget and the toolbox

And at last, for now ..., I think you should explain clearly for dumb people like me, how the Save function exactly works
When a project is it saved exactly ? can we make a Save As ? to give a more understandable name ?
When we Import a project, is it written in an other place ?
Example : I have a file ProjectA.vrt7 on my disk, I import it in Virtuino, I make change to ProjectA.vrt7 on my disk
The one imported DOESNT reflect the change I made on my file

As this is my first post I would like to say Hi to all the members.

Now my issue/problem :

Does anyone know how I can access an external link by pressing a button? 
So I would like when I press a button to be able to open and external link for example : " www.google.com"
Same idea if I want to be able to open an app - Create a "CCTV" button and when pressed either the web page for the camera opens or, even better the app for the camera to open.
Anybody has experience with this, or can it be done in Virtuino? Can it be done by java script?

Any kind of info/help would be appreciated.

I'm using dark theme in my phone. I observed that colors in panel creator are weird. It doesn't appear in light theme.

HI! I don't understand why, but moving a dashboard from one screen to another doesn't resize it (I set 1980/1020). for example on the PC screen I see it correctly and while on the iPhone or iPad it is not scaled and it seems like everything is "huge". where am I wrong? Thank you

Trying to parse this out. My goal - basic schedule controller, turn X on/off at Y or Z time.

Here is how I understand everything, jump in if I'm wrong or right.

On the YouTube VIoT Schedule Example, in the comments, you say "...the app is not [a] controller. You can edit a schedule only, you can't run it." So, Virtuino does not have a method to run or reference a schedule/time/RTC on its own? However, the schedule editor can send a schedule, in the format provided, to a program running on an ESP? 

And this is where I get confused. In the program you dictate a specific time (3,8,32,46). In the serial monitor, it references the real time (on video, converted to your format (6,10,18,49)) & sends the time you entered into the Schedule Display Widget (7,8,50,00). What is the purpose of the 1st time you dictated (3,8,32,46)? Was that just for the example, like a definitive, "see it's in this time window, now it's not" kind of thing? Then, Virtuino already has a real time number, is there a way I can reference that? Or is it more a back end thing that exists but isn't something Virtuino can directly control? The RTC seems redundant if Virtuino already knows what time it is.

Basically, where and what is the time anchor? Assuming I can't use Virtuino's time stamp number, would I just use my RTC values in place of your defined (3,8,32,46)? So every 10 seconds, the ESP checks the updated time, asks Virtuino if it matches it's range, then it updates a separate tagged variable I can access in Virtuino to control X device?

First of all, I really love Virtuino IOT, this app is totally useful and makes a lot of fun!

At the moment I try to send values to a thingspeak channel using the HTTP POST tool, so far so good.

Is there a way I could directly send the value of some variables? Please see the attached picture. I would like to bulk send a few variables out from an mqtt input.

I noticed that with a large number of variables and drawing charts (for example, from several days), Virtuino slows down the work.
