Parrot Speak is an app that helps you teach your parrot to speak, by playing words and sounds to it on a schedule you choose. This policy explains what data the app uses, where it is stored, and what is sent over the internet.
Your lessons, sound lists, schedules, settings and the sounds you record or import are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. They are not uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, permanently deletes them.
The app asks for microphone access only so that you can record words and sounds for your lessons. Recording starts only when you start it yourself. Recordings are saved on your device and are never sent anywhere.
If you choose to import a sound file (mp3, ogg or wav), the app reads only the file you pick and copies it into its own storage on your device.
Purchases of the Pro version are made through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google; we do not receive or store any payment or card details. Google's handling of your purchase is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you activate the Pro version with a Product ID instead of a Google Play purchase, the app sends the Product ID and an anonymous device identifier (the Android ID of your device) to our licence server at virtuino.com. This is used only to verify the licence and to apply the limit on the number of devices one Product ID can activate. The device identifier is stored together with that licence and is not used for any other purpose. No name, e-mail or other personal information is collected by the app.

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking. Links to external websites (for example YouTube or sound libraries) open in your browser and are subject to those websites' own policies.
Data on your device is kept for as long as the app is installed and is deleted when you uninstall it or clear its data. If you activated a Product ID and want the device identifiers linked to it removed, contact us at the address below.
Parrot Speak is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
