Virtuino IoT moved to a subscription with version 1.0. The classic 0.6 builds stay available as a one-time purchase.

Activated with a lifetime Product ID, no subscription. Projects made in version 1.0 and newer cannot be opened in these builds — keep your projects separate if you use both.

Installation

Download the installer

Get the latest .exe from the versions table above (Windows 10 or newer, 64-bit).

Run it

Double-click the downloaded installer and follow the wizard. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway — see the note below on why that warning shows.

Launch & connect

Open Virtuino IoT and start a new project. Connect via MQTT, Modbus or WebSocket, or link it to Virtuino Cloud.

The Windows version stores your projects in a virtuino folder inside your Documents folder. Back it up to keep your work safe.

Why Windows shows a warning

The standalone installer is not digitally signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen and some browsers flag it as coming from an unknown publisher. This is about missing identity, not about safety — a code signing certificate is what removes the warning, and we are working on it.

Two things you can do in the meantime:

Install from the Microsoft Store — there the package is signed by Microsoft itself and no warning appears at all. This is the smoothest route on Windows.
Download the .zip instead of the .exe — browsers block .exe downloads far more aggressively. The zip contains the same installer; extract it and run it.

If you want to verify that what you downloaded is exactly what we published, check its SHA-256 in PowerShell:
